Steve Nash, Junior Bird Man

By Henry Abbott

All in one instant, Derek Fisher sank the 3, and Violet Palmer blew the whistle and Steve Nash had the highlight of the night.

Seriously, did you notice that in protesting his role in Fisher's almost four-point play, Steve Nash quickly flipped his hands up onto his eyes to make crazy "Batman" goggles?

You can see it for yourself here, where blogger Jonathan Hernandez is amazed that Nash had such a complicated hand gesture at the ready in the heat of the moment.

Here's the news, though, Jonathan. Nash is a parent. And parents tend to be among those who have spent endless hours teaching kids the Junior Birdman song. Having seen the ease with which Nash deployed the Junior Birdman eyes, I can almost guarantee he's in the club.

With these folks.
