Matt Jones, DeSean Jackson evaluated after Redskins practice for injuries

RICHMOND, Va. -- Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson did not practice Sunday because of a dislocated finger and was being evaluated after practice. Running back Matt Jones also was being evaluated for an issue with his right knee.

Jones watched the last portion of practice from the sideline, but he was able to walk on his own, without a noticeable limp, to the locker room. Jones has been involved in numerous collisions the past two days as the Redskins have been practicing in pads. Jackson injured his finger Saturday.

A number of veteran players were given the day off: center Kory Lichtensteiger, safety Dashon Goldson, left tackle Trent Williams, linebacker Ryan Kerrigan and defensive end Jason Hatcher.
