Redskins sign Bryce Quigley, release Hutson Mason

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins continued to tweak their rosters, signing offensive lineman Bryce Quigley on Tuesday. The Redskins waived quarterback Hutson Mason to make room for Quigley.

Detroit signed Quigley an undrafted free agent last year, but he was released in August. San Diego signed Quigley to its practice squad in Week 14, but released him last month.

Quigley started 38 games at San Diego State, including the last two seasons at left tackle. Quigley suffered a foot injury late in his senior season, though he put off surgery so he could play in a bowl game.
