FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots are still leaving open the possibility of quarterback Tom Brady playing in Thursday night's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, sources said.
Jimmy Garoppolo is still expected to see the majority of repetitions for New England.
ESPN.com reported Wednesday that Brady was unlikely to play, but Brady feels like he's developed a good rhythm in training camp and there is consideration to maintaining it through some repetitions in preseason action -- even if for just a series or two.
Brady posted a picture to his Facebook page on Thursday in which he wrote: "Good to be HOME! Helmet is on ... I'll see you tonight Gillette Stadium!!!"
Brady always intended to be at Gillette Stadium for the game regardless of whether he would get in the game.
