ROCK ISLAND, Illinois (Ticker) -- Maceo Baston scored 27 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to lead the Quad City Thunder over the Yakima Sun Kings, 121-117. Baston hit 10-of-12 shots from the field and 7-of-10 free throw attempts. Bakari Hendrix chipped in with 25 points and Jamel Thomas added 24 for Quad City, which snapped a four-game losing streak. Tyson Wheeler had 14 assists for the Thunder, who beat Yakima for only the third time in nine meetings. Raja Bell had 21 points for Yakima, which had seven players score in double-figures. Carlos Daniel had a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for the Sun Kings.
