TORONTO (Ticker) -- Paul Osbaldiston moved into second place on the CFL's all-time scoring list as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats posted a 23-17 victory over the Toronto Argonauts. Osbaldiston kicked three field goals, one extra point and converted a single for 11 points. He has 2,383 career points, to pass former Saskatchewan Roughrider Dave Ridgway. Lui Passaglia of the B.C. Lions is first overall, with 3,811 career points. Osbaldiston's 43-yard field goal with 2:45 left in the third quarter, gave Hamilton (3-1) a 15-14 lead. Ronald Williams ran two yards for a score in the third quarter to widen the lead to 22-14. Hamilton quarterback Danny McManus completed 28-of-42 passes for 403 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Williams carried 19 times for 68 yards and had six receptions for 47 yards. Argonauts (1-3) quarterback Jimmy Kemp finished 15-of-27 for 177 yards, including a nine-yard TD pass to Derrell Mitchell in the first quarter.
