BOX SCORE
WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Ticker) -- Khari Jones threw a pair of second-half touchdown passes to Robert Gordon as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers rallied for their first win of the season, a 31-16 triumph over the B.C. Lions. Jones replaced Kerwin Bell and completed 11-of-20 passes for 173 yards. He found Gordon for a six-yard TD early in the third quarter to put Winnipeg (1-4) ahead for good, 21-16. After Troy Westwood kicked a 43-yard field goal, Jones and Gordon hooked up for a 40-yard touchdown midway through the final quarter that capped the scoring. Bell was 7-of-13 for 125 yards, including an 86-yard score to Milt Stegall that gave Winnipeg a 14-0 cushion just over four minutes into the game. But the Lions (2-3) came back to take the lead before halftime as Lui Passaglia kicked three field goals and Sean Millington ran four yards for a touchdown. Damon Allen was 18-for-33 for 303 yards but was intercepted three times for B.C., which has lost three in a row following a 2-0 start.
