BOX SCORE
TORONTO (Ticker) -- Damon Allen passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as the B.C. Lions embarrassed the Toronto Argonauts, 51-4. Allen opened the scoring with a nine-yard run midway through the first quarter and threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Alfred Jackson in the second period as the Lions (4-4) built a commanding 34-1 halftime lead. Allen found Donald Blair for a 32-yard TD early in the third quarter to stretch the advantage to 40 points before a sparse crowd at SkyDome. He completed 15-of-22 passes for 257 yards before giving way to Doug Nussmeier. Jackson was Allen's favorite target with five catches for 103 yards. The Lions, who also defeated the Argonauts a week ago, had a huge edge in total offense, 513 yards to 87. Lui Passaglia added three field goals for B.C., which improved to 2-2 on the road. Toronto never got untracked and committed four turnovers en route to its worst loss of the season. It came amid rumors that coach John Huard's job is in serious jeopardy. Jimmy Kemp was 6-of-11 for 41 yards with an interception for the last-place Argos (1-6-1).
