BOX SCORE
HAMILTON, Ontario (Ticker) -- Paul Osbaldiston kicked six field goals and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats allowed just one first down in the first half en route to a 39-13 romp over the Montreal Alouettes, avenging a 33-point loss earlier this month. Osbaldiston converted from 10, 21, 36 and 28 yards in the first half, staking the Tiger-Cats (7-5) to a 12-3 lead at intermission. Montreal had only 57 total yards at halftime, compared to 214 for Hamilton. Thirteen days after crushing the Ti-Cats, 52-19, the Alouettes climbed within 12-10 in the third quarter on Mike Pringle's six-yard run. But Danny McManus threw a one-yard touchdown toss to Darren Flutie before the end of the period and hooked up with him again in the fourth quarter to open a 29-10 lead. Archie Amerson sealed the victory with a 70-yard TD scamper. Osbaldison also was good from 48 and 27 yards, helping Hamilton to its fourth win in five games. Anthony Calvillo was 14-of-24 for 157 yards with an interception for Montreal (8-4), which suffered its third straight road loss. Pringle led the Alouettes' ground game with 80 yards, but Montreal committed 12 penalties for 124 yards.
