Best bets for Monday Night Football

Will the Chicago Bears be able to contain Kirk Cousins on Monday Night Football? Nick Wosika/Icon Sportswire

In the wake of some schedule-juggling this week due to the large number of COVID-19 cases, there will be two Monday night games in Week 15, to be followed by a pair of games on Tuesday night. Those Tuesday games will be covered in a separate article, but ESPN betting analysts Erin Dolan, Eric Moody and Anita Marks, along with Football Outsiders' Aaron Schatz and Stats & Information's Seth Walder, offer up their best bets for Monday's games between the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns, as well as the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears.

Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook as of Sunday, unless otherwise noted.

Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns (-3, 40.5)

Walder: As of early Sunday, it's still certainly possible that Baker Mayfield, currently on the COVID-19 list, tests out and is able to play. However, it hardly seems like a guarantee, and favoring the Browns by 3 at this point and time seems fairly optimistic.

If Mayfield is out (along with others), I think it's clear the Raiders would be a value. If he plays, the Browns would probably (maybe?) be the better side giving those points -- but I'm not even sure how strong that is.
