"It's all muscular, nothing structural," Hoyer said Tuesday night. "We'll give him a couple days, throw a bullpen [session] and hopefully get him right back on schedule."
Garza has been out since early in spring training with lat strain on his left side after missing the second half of last season with an elbow injury. Hoyer was quick to point out this setback has nothing to do with Garza's elbow.
Garza is to pitch three rehab starts before re-joining the Cubs. He was 5-7 with a 3.91 ERA last season.
