The Chicago White Sox activated second baseman Gordon Beckham from the disabled list on Monday and designated Tyler Greene for assignment.
Beckham, 26, suffered a fracture in his left hand and underwent surgery and has been on the DL since April 12. He played in eight rehab games with Triple-A Charlotte.
He hit .316 over seven games this season and will be available for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Greene, 29, was hitting .222 with a home run and three RBIs over 22 games.
