Bulls pick up option on Derrick Rose

The Chicago Bulls exercised the fourth-year option on point guard Derrick Rose, and the third-year options on Taj Gibson and James Johnson on Monday.

That means all three players will be under contract with the Bulls for the 2011-12 season.

The only one of three moves that wasn't considered a guarantee was Johnson, who apparently impressed Bulls management with his work over the summer. Johnson played in 65 games last year as a rookie.
