Kirk Hinrich out with thumb injury

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich did not play Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks because of a right thumb injury.

"He is nicked more than anything," Thibodeau said. "I wanted to get a look at Nate (Robinson) and Marquis (Teague) more than anything, so I thought giving him the game off was the right thing to do. We will be off (Wednesday) and we will see where we are on Thursday."

Robinson scored 24 points starting in Hinrich's place.

Hinrich, whom the Bucks courted in the off-season, ultimately signed a two year deal with the Bulls over the summer. He has been Thibodeau's most consistent player over the first three preseason games.

Bulls center Kyrylo Fesenko also didn't play Tuesday night because of a cold.
