Chicago Wolves win fifth straight game

The Chicago Wolves moved into a tie for first place in the Midwest Division with Charlotte on Friday, winning their fifth straight game, 2-1 over the Milwaukee Admirals at Allstate Arena.

Michael Davies and Bill Sweatt each scored second-period goals for Chicago (21-12-1-3).

"I thought this was a very good hockey game," Wolves head coach Craig MacTavish said. "It had a ton of intensity, battles and drama and we were able to hold on."

Matt Climie made 32 saves for the Wolves and Jeremy Smith made posted 32 saves for the Admirals (20-13-0-1).
