Johnson ranks third in Denver history in receptions


Vance Johnson, a wide receiver out of Arizona, was a second-round pick by the Denver Broncos in the 1985 draft. Johnson along with Mark Jackson and Ricky Nattiel formed Denver's Three Amigos wide receiving corps. Johnson was Denver's top receiver for three straight years, 1987-89. His best season was 1989 when he finished with 76 receptions for 1,095 yards and seven TDs. Johnson finished his Bronco career with 415 catches for 5,695 yards and 37 touchdowns. He currently ranks third in team history in catches behind Lionel Taylor and Shannon Sharpe. He finished his career in 1995.
