Syracuse announced Tuesday that sophomore running back Adonis Ameen-Moore and junior tight end Max Beaulieu will not play in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.
Orange coach Doug Marrone said in a statement that the discipline stems from unspecified violations of athletic department rules.
Syracuse will face West Virginia on Saturday in the bowl game that is held at Yankee Stadium.
Ameen-Moore played in six games this season for the Orange, rushing 30 times for 108 yards and five touchdowns. Beaulieu played in just one game this season, against Connecticut.
This is not the first round of disciplinary acts for the co-Big East champs. Marrone announced Friday that starting linebacker Marquis Spruill and injured running back Steven Rene will miss significant portions of their next games following their Dec. 2 arrests and ensuing misdemeanor charges after an incident with Syracuse police.
