TEMPE, Ariz. -- Two Arizona State football players have been kicked off the team after being arrested for allegedly photographing a naked female student without her permission.
Jonathan E. Lehmann and Brent P. Russum were arrested Tuesday and later released, said Manny Romero, a spokesman for the Arizona State Department of Public Safety.
The two redshirt freshmen offensive linemen, both 19, were later
kicked off the team, Sun Devils head coach Dirk Koetter said.
School officials said a female student filed a complaint with
police Sunday morning.
Authorities would not say when the alleged incident occurred.
Lehmann is from Giddings, Texas, and Russum is from Lewiston,
Idaho. Neither appeared in a game for Arizona State.
It was not immediately known whether Russum or Lehmann were
suspended from the university.
Running back Loren Wade was charged with first-degree murder
Tuesday in the shooting death of a former Sun Devils football
player outside a Scottsdale nightclub early Saturday.
