EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon defensive end Dexter Manley II is
leaving the Ducks, head coach Mike Bellotti said Tuesday.
Manley, the son of the former Washington Redskins star, played
in 11 of 13 games in his only season at Oregon after transferring
from Santa Monica College before the start of the 2006 season.
The 6-2, 280-pound reserve had three sacks in a lopsided win
over Arizona State, but those were his only sacks of the season.
"I wish Dexter well and told him I would help him transfer to
somewhere he could receive more playing time," Bellotti said.
Manley has one season of college eligibility left.
