Virginia Tech junior defensive back Kam Chancellor said Thursday that, after considering a jump to the NFL, he has told his coaches he will definitely return for a senior season.
Chancellor, a 6-foot-4, 224-pound safety, had 52 tackles and two interceptions this season for the FedEx Orange Bowl champion Hokies.
"I just thought about how good of a team we have and how I have a good feeling that we could go to the national championship next year," Chancellor said. "And I thought about how I could better my situation for the draft next year."
