Arkansas offensive coordinator Paul Petrino traveled to Bowling Green, Ky., Saturday night to interview for the Western Kentucky head coaching job, a source told ESPN.com.
The source said Petrino flew into Bowling Green after the Razorbacks' 42-21 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon in Little Rock. Western Kentucky has two games remaining this season under coach David Elson, who was fired earlier this month.
Petrino spent four seasons in the state of Kentucky as an assistant to his brother, Bobby, at Louisville, from 2003-06.
