Sturgis re-injured his back during practice this week and didn't make the trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala. Senior punter Chas Henry will handle field goals and extra points, and freshman Brad Phillips will kick off. Henry was a place-kicker and punter in high school.
Sturgis, a sophomore, made two of four field goals this season. He missed from 39 and 44 yards, and has converted 19 of 21 extra-point attempts. Known for his strong leg and directional kickoffs, Sturgis made a career-long 56-yard field goal last season against Georgia.
