Notre Dame Fighting Irish lose starting WR Avery Davis for season to torn ACL, name Tyler Buchner starting QB
Notre Dame starting receiver Avery Davis has a torn ACL in his right knee and is out for the season, the school announced Saturday. The Fighting Irish also announced sophomore QB Tyler Buchner will start the opener against Ohio State on Sept. 3.
