CORVALLIS, Oregon (Ticker) -- Derek Anderson helped give
Oregon State another "Civil War" victory and possibly another
bowl game appearance.

Anderson threw for 351 yards and four touchdowns as the Beavers
defeated Pac-10 Conference foe Oregon, 50-21, in the 108th
edition of their rivalry that dates back to 1894.

Oregon State (6-5, 5-3 Pac-10) set the record for most points
scored in a "Civil War" showdown and swept its three games
against Oregon, Washington and Washington State for the first
time since 1973.

Anderson completed 24-of-41 passes and tied his 2002 school
record of 25 touchdown passes in a season. He owns the top
three single-season spots in Beavers history for passing yardage
and total offense.

Mike Haas caught nine passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns
and tied Oregon State's single-season pass reception mark with

Alexis Serna kicked five field goals for Oregon State, which
scored the final 23 points after the Ducks got within 27-21
early in the third quarter.

Kellen Clemens threw three TDs but was just 13-of-29 for 126
yards and was sacked six times for Oregon (5-6, 4-4), which
suffered its first losing season since 1993.

The 29-point victory margin was the second-largest in the
rivalry, trailing only Oregon State's 39-2 win in 1942.
