LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (Ticker) -- Matt Jones passed for 272

yards and four touchdowns as Arkansas coasted to a 49-20 victory

over Louisiana-Monroe.

The Razorbacks' lone returning offensive starter this season,

Jones completed 18-of-28 passes with an interception. He threw

two of his TD passes in the first half, helping the Razorbacks

(2-1) open a 35-20 lead.

Jones threw two TD passes apiece to Steven Harris and Marcus

Monk. Harris had six catches for 133 yards while Monk had two

for 46.

It also was a big day for the Razorbacks on the ground. DeCori

Birmingham rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown while De'Arrius

Howard added 109 and a score.

Arkansas rolled up 571 total yards and 27 first downs.

Steven Jyles passed for 298 yards and a touchdown for

Louisiana-Monroe (0-2).
