Richmond 13, William &, Mary 10

RICHMOND , Va. -- Andrew Howard's 48-yard field goal as time ran out lifted Richmond to a 13-10 win over William & Mary and a share of the Colonial Athletic Association championship on Saturday.

The Spiders (10-1, 7-1 Colonial Athletic Association) won their fifth straight over the Tribe (9-2, 6-2), matching their longest streak in the 119-game series.

The Tribe was at Richmond's 39 when Justin Rogers intercepted a pass. He returned it to the Richmond 47 with 14 seconds left.

Eric Ward completed two passes, moving the ball to the 31 with 2 seconds left, setting the stage for Howard.

Richmond took a 10-3 two plays into the fourth quarter on Justin Forte's 4-yard run.

William & Mary tied the score on R.J. Archer's 60-yard pass to Cameron Dohse.

The Tribe, No. 1 in the country against the run, held Forte to 32 yards on 15 carries and the Spiders to a season-low 18 yards.
