Browning stars in La.-Monroe's 49-37 win over Troy

TROY, Ala. -- Kolton Browning threw for 354 yards and five touchdowns and ran for a score to help Louisiana-Monroe beat Troy 49-37 on Thursday night.

Browning completed 21 of 31 passes for the Warhawks (5-4, 3-1 Sun Belt) and tied his career highs for passing touchdowns and total touchdowns.

Browning threw two touchdown passes to Ajalen Holley in the first half, a 60-yarder and a 6-yarder. In the third quarter, Browning threw a 23-yard scoring pass to Tre' Perrier, a 55-yarder to Rashon Ceaser, and scored on a 1-yard run. Browning capped the scoring with 3:01 to go with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Perrier.

Ceaser caught three passes for 105 yards, and Centarius Donald led the Warhawks in rushing with 114 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Corey Robinson completed 31 of 52 passes for 362 yards and two touchdowns for Troy (5-4, 3-2). Jordan Chunn had 81 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries, and Eric Thomas led the Trojans with six catches for 75 yards.
