Ole Miss star left tackle Laremy Tunsil will miss his second straight game Saturday for the 17th-ranked Rebels because of an ongoing investigation by the NCAA, coach Hugh Freeze confirmed to ESPN.
Tunsil missed the Rebels' season-opening 76-3 win over UT Martin last week for what the school called a "precautionary measure."
Ole Miss has worked with the NCAA regarding potential violations after Tunsil's stepfather made allegations that Tunsil had improper contact with agents and received improper benefits.
Freeze said Wednesday during the SEC coaches' teleconference that he hadn't spoken to anyone from the NCAA regarding Tunsil's situation.
Tunsil is considered a potential top-10 pick in next year's NFL draft and has started 20 games in two seasons with the Rebels, allowing just two sacks in his career.
Ole Miss (1-0) hosts Fresno State (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
