Auburn's Jared Cooper out for season

AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn (No. 20 BCS, No. 19 AP) guard Jared Cooper will miss the rest of the regular season after undergoing surgery.

Cooper started the first six games at left guard before injuring his lower right leg. Coach Gene Chizik didn't rule out a possible return for the Tigers' bowl game

Cooper is a senior who was a backup until this season. Chad Slade replaced him against Florida.

Chizik also estimates that wide receivers Emory Blake (lower leg) and Trovon Reed (shoulder) both have "50-50" chances of playing Saturday at No. 1 LSU.

Blake missed the Arkansas game and got on the field briefly against Florida. Reed has missed the last three games.
