What was supposed to be the high school football game of the season ended up being a one-sided affair as No. 1 Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) cruised past then-No. 6 Miami Central (Miami) 35-3. Miami Central drops to No. 19 with the loss but has the chance to get back on track Saturday against No. 7 Booker T. Washington (Miami).
Meanwhile, there's another new team in the rankings this week. Katy (Texas) debuts this week, earning a spot after previous No. 15 Southlake Carroll (Southlake, Texas) was shut out by Allen (Texas) in its season opener.
The biggest matchup this week takes place on Friday when No. 8 John Curtis (River Ridge, La.) takes on No. 12 Plant (Tampa, Fla.) on Friday.
