"I want to be a part of something special," Eubanks told ESPN. "I visited there and really loved the players and the staff. I think they have something special going on over there."
The 6-foot-5, 218-pound wing was initially set to go to Alabama this year, but did not receive a qualifying test score prior to the start of the fall semester. Eubanks achieved a qualifying test score in September and was cleared to play in the second semester.
He also considered Georgetown and Baylor before choosing Texas A&M.
Eubanks gives more quality depth to an Aggies team that has upgraded its talent over the past year with the addition of several heralded recruits. Coach Billy Kennedy returns Danuel House, Alex Caruso and Jalen Jones, and he added four players in ESPN's Top 75: Tyler Davis (27), Elijah Thomas (31), D.J. Hogg (35) and Admon Gilder (68).
Eubanks will be eligible to play his first game on Dec. 19 against Baylor.
