Since basketball is a player's game and McDonald's High School All-American is among the most prestigious honors in girls' basketball, it is appropriate that the top four teams in the Powerade Fab 50 are represented in the East and West teams announced on Thursday.
The game will be played on March 30, 6:30 p.m. (Central) at the United Center in Chicago, Ill., and broadcast live on ESPNU.
Justine Hartman will represent No. 1 Brea Olinda (Brea, Calif.); Ariya Crook-Williams reps No. 2 Polytechnic (Long Beach, Calif.); Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, the No. 1 ranked senior, and teammate Alexyz Vaioletama are from No. 3 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), and point guard Ariel Massengale hails from No. 4 Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, Ill.).
No. 5 Potter's House Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.) was the highest-ranked team without a McDonald's selection.
