Crosgile, Willliams lead surprising N.J. Roadrunners

LAS VEGAS -- The third day of action at the Reebok Summer Championships saw the New Jersey Roadrunners knock off the two-time defending champions Southern California All-Stars, 68-62. The Southern California All Stars once featured players such as Kevin Love, Brandon Jennings, and Renardo Sidney. The only returning starter from those championship teams, USC commit 6-5 WF Malik Story (Lakewood, Calif.), had a sub-par game, connecting on only five of 17 field goal attempts for 13 points. Story also committed three crucial turnovers down the stretch.

The surprising New Jersey Roadrunners advanced in bracket play by earlier defeating the Baltimore Stars, 59-57. Class of 2009 prospect 5-11 PG Justin Crosgile (Patterson, N.J.) and 6-6 PF/WF Keyon Williams (Hackensack, N.J.) led the attack for the Roadrunners.
