Heading into the final day of the regular season Sunday, unfinished business remains before the postseason can get under way Tuesday. Here's what still needs to be settled:

Games to watch: Los Angeles Angels at Texas Rangers, 3:05 p.m. ET; Houston Astros at Arizona Diamondbacks, 3:10 p.m. ET

If the Rangers and Astros win:
• Texas (88-74) wins the AL West
• Houston (87-75) earns an AL wild-card berth

If the Rangers win and Astros lose:
• Texas (88-74) wins the AL West
• Houston (86-76) earns an AL wild-card berth

If the Angels win and Astros lose:
• Texas (88-74) wins the AL West
• Houston (87-75) hosts LA Angels (87-75) on Monday for AL wild-card berth
Houston owns a 10-9 head-to-head edge over LA Angels

If the Angels win and Astros win:
• Texas (87-75) hosts Houston (87-75) on Monday; winner is AL West champion, loser earns AL wild-card berth
Texas owns a 13-6 head-to-head edge over Houston

Games to watch: New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles, 3:05 p.m. ET; LA Angels at Texas; Houston at Arizona

If the Yankees win:
• NY Yankees (88-74) will host AL wild-card game Tuesday

If the Yankees lose, Astros win and Rangers win:
• Houston (87-75) will host NY Yankees (87-75) in AL wild-card game on Tuesday
Houston owns a 4-3 head-to-head edge over NY Yankees

If the Yankees lose, Astros win and Angels win:
• NY Yankees (87-75) will host loser of Monday's AL West tiebreaker between Texas (87-75) and Houston (87-75) because loser will have 76 losses.<.p>

Games to watch: Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins, 3:10 p.m. ET; Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays, 3:10 p.m. ET

If the Royals win or the Blue Jays lose:
• Kansas City (95-67) earns home-field advantage over Toronto (93-68)

If the Royals lose and the Blue Jays win:
• Toronto (94-68) earns home-field advantage over Kansas City (94-68)
Toronto owns a 4-3 head-to-head edge over Kansas City

NL wild-card host

Games to watch: Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates, 3:05 p.m. ET; Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee Brewers, 3:10 p.m. ET

If the Pirates win or the Cubs lose:
• Pittsburgh hosts Chicago in the NL wild-card game Wednesday

If the Pirates lose and the Cubs win:
• Chicago (97-65) hosts Pittsburgh (97-65) in the NL wild-card game Wednesday
Chicago owns an 11-8 head-to-head edge over Pittsburgh
