Jean-Jacques Taylor joins ESPN Dallas

Columnist Jean-Jacques Taylor will join ESPNDallas.com beginning Monday, Aug. 1, it was announced Wednesday.

Taylor will write about everything from the Dallas Cowboys' quest for a Super Bowl ring to Texas high school football. He will also contribute to ESPN 103.3 FM, the flagship station of the Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers.

"Jean-Jacques has had his finger on the pulse of the Dallas-Fort Worth sports scene for 20 years. We can't wait to be able to share his wealth of knowledge, analysis and opinion with the sports fans of North Texas on ESPNDallas.com and ESPN 103.3 FM."

A native of Dallas, Taylor spent the past 20 years writing for The Dallas Morning News, where he covered high schools sports, the Texas Rangers and spent 11 seasons covering the Dallas Cowboys before becoming a general columnist in 2006. In 2007, he wrote Game of their Lives: Stories of the Dallas Cowboys, a book chronicling the best players in Cowboys history from Troy Aikman to Drew Pearson.
