Dallas Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh has ended his two-week absence from the team's voluntary workouts and is working out with his teammates, agent Kevin Conner said Monday.
Sensabaugh, however, has not signed his second-round tender worth $1.809 million.
In an agreement between Sensabaugh and the team, should he get injured during workouts he will receive the amount of his tender as part of an injury settlement.
Sensabaugh missed the first two weeks of the voluntary workouts at the Cowboys' Valley Ranch facility, instead working out on his own. He had 66 tackles and had eight passes defended last season.
"We are extremely optimistic of making him a long-term Cowboy very soon," Conner said.
Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin, who also hasn't signed his tender offer, returned last week to work out at Valley Ranch.
