Christopher Wiehl
Christopher costars as Derek McConnell, an all-pro quarterback suffering his first sub-par season in ESPN's first-ever dramatic scripted series "Playmakers," which premieres August 26th at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. "Playmakers" is a gritty ensemble drama chronicling the behind-the-scenes and off-the-field lives of the players, families, coaches and owner of a fictional professional football team.

Wiehl graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in dramatic arts, and quickly landed several guest-star roles in television shows such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "ER," "Touched By An Angel" and "Monk." As a rising young talent, Christopher quickly won recurring and lead roles in television series including "C.S.I," "First Monday" and TNT's first original series "Bull." He also recently appeared in the motion picture "Hollywood Homicide," starring Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnet.

Wiehl currently resides in Los Angeles, California and enjoys skydiving, skiing and tennis in his free time and is also a certified lifeguard.
