Calling all filmmakers!
Disney Enterprises
Take the Tribeca Film Festival/ESPN trailer contest challenge!
The third annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival is celebrating the spirit of competition by calling all film and sports fans to participate in the TFF/ESPN Trailer contest. Fans -- whether filmmakers, jocks or spectators -- have the opportunity to recreate a scene from one of two classic Disney sports films: "Remember The Titans" and "Cool Runnings."
Representatives from both ESPN and Tribeca will choose the winning film, which will become the official 2009 Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival's trailer, and will be screened before all Tribeca/ESPN sports films. The winner will also receive an all-expense paid trip for two to New York City to attend the 2009 Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival!
Tribeca/ESPN is not just looking for reenactments. Contestants are challenged to find their own personal take on these classic sports movie moments. They should stretch their imaginations to be creative and playful, make these scenes their own.
