Near the end of the 100-meter semifinals at the Olympic trials [on June 24], my left hamstring started tugging harder and harder. It felt like a strain. With each step, it got worse and worse. The only thing going through my head was to get to my trainers to see what was going on. When we viewed the MRI [after the final], that's when I found out I'd be risking further damage by continuing.
