Harrah's announced its expanded schedule for the 2007 World Series of Poker. Starting on June 1, the WSOP will offer a record 55 events (46 in 2006), and many new tournaments include a $5,000 world championship mixed hold 'em event, a $2,500 HORSE event, and a $5,000 heads-up championship event.
"The 2007 schedule offers something for everyone," WSOP commissioner Jeffrey Pollack said. "As part of our commitment to innovate for the benefit of all players, we've added nine bracelet events and created more opportunities for both amateurs and professionals to win poker's most coveted prize."
Last year, spacing became an issue, forcing the main event to expand to four starting dates. This year the Amazon Room at the Rio will add 100 tables for a total of 300, and will hold three starting dates. The main event will take place over 11 days (nine days of action, with two days off); last year, the event was held over 15 days (13 days of action).
Below is the complete schedule for the 2007 WSOP. Satellites will be held on July 4 and 5, and the media event will be held on July 5.
All events in bold will be televised on ESPN in HD and for the second consecutive year, there will be a live pay-per-view broadcast of the final table held on July 17, 2007. Clicking on events with links will contain spoilers.

**: The $50,000 HORSE event will be broadcast every Tuesday night from October 16 to October 30 at 8 and 9 pm.
