Former NFL star Terrell Owens is among the athletes taking his talents to the dance floor this fall in Season 25 of "Dancing with the Stars."
ABC announced the full celebrity cast for the hit show on Monday. Owens joins five-time NBA champion and former New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher, paralympic swimming gold and silver medalist (and current ESPN host and reporter) Victoria Arlen and WWE wrestler Nikki Bella as Mirror Ball Trophy hopefuls.
A six-time Pro Bowl receiver, Owens is partnered with two-time DWTS champion Cheryl Burke. Fisher will dance with Sharna Burgess; Arlen, Val Chmerkovskiy; and Bella, Artem Chigvintsev.
Athletes have had success on the show, winning the Mirror Ball Trophy 10 times. NFL running back Rashad Jennings was last season's champion, with former Chicago Cubs catcher and current ESPN commentator David Ross finishing second.
Other celebrities competing on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars include Drew Scott of the HGTV show "Property Brothers," businesswoman Barbara Corcoran (of "Shark Tank" fame), actors Sasha Pieterse, Frankie Muinz and Jordan Fisher, '80s pop star Debbie Gibson, violinist Lindsey Stirling, and singer Nick Lachey and his wife, TV personality Vanessa Lachey. The series returns Sept. 18, from 8-10 p.m. ET on ABC.
