FRANKFURT -- German hurdler Thomas Goller has been suspended after testing positive for anabolic steroids.
The 32-year-old runner won the national 400-meter hurdles title last year in his comeback season after several injuries. But Goller had to skip the world championships in Berlin because of a calf injury.
Goller has been kicked out of his club Wattenscheid. He took part in the 2000 Sydney Olympics but his career had been interrupted by injuries. The German athletics federation said Monday that Goller can request a test of his "B" sample.
