KLADNO, Czech Republic -- Oleksiy Kasyanov of Ukraine has won the decathlon and Eliska Klucinova of the Czech Republic won the heptathlon at the TNT Fortuna meeting.
Kasyanov, who was leading after the first five disciplines, stayed in front and finished with 8,381 points on Wednesday. Aleksey Drozdov of Russia finished second with 8,246 and Jamie Adjetey-Nelson of Canada was third.
Olympic decathlon champion Bryan Clay of the United States pulled out of the meet on Tuesday after picking up a groin injury in the opening 100-meter event.
Klucinova equaled the Czech record with 6,268 points to beat Marina Goncharova of Russia, who had 6,182. Lyudmyla Yosypenko of Ukraine finished third.
