| Those who listened to Late GameNight know that the 1955 Dodgers gave Brooklyn their only World Series victory. Legend has it that a Buttermilk cake (baked by the family of rookie Frank Kellert) was the "magic". It started a winning streak, stopped a losing streak, and "inspired" the Dodgers all through the World Series. Here is the recipe for that delicious cake (reprinted with permission from Carl Erskine's book Tales From the Dodger Dugout)
