Four-time Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin can't listen to pump-up music before races. "If I get too amped up it kind of leaks a little energy off," she said -- and she wants to be using all her energy to set world records in the water.
Instead, Franklin, who's taking a year off from the University of California-Berkeley to prepare for the 2016 Olympics, listens to chill music. As she heads to the pool, she likes "anything country" and songs that help put the race in perspective.
