It seems like every day another celebrity, or marginally famous person, is trying to befriend Taylor Swift. And it's probably because that's exactly what happens EVERY SINGLE DAY.
On Wednesday, the pop star performed in Indianapolis and was adorably welcomed to town by members of the Fever and Pacers. And today, as the "1989" tour makes it way to Columbus, Ezekiel Elliott has thrown his hat into the "BE MY FRIEND, TAYLOR" ring. The Buckeyes running back -- and fellow crop-top enthusiast -- tweeted at Swift on Thursday morning, asking if she would be interested in grabbing a bite to eat after her show.
@taylorswift13 I see your in town tonight want to grab something to eat after their concert ? 😊— EzekielElliott#⃣1⃣5⃣ (@EzekielElliott) September 17, 2015
Well, in Elliott's defense, the social media route did work out OK for his teammate Cardale Jones and Ronda Rousey. Might as well try, right?
