Ronda Rousey Eerily Foreshadowed How Holly Holm Would Beat Her

Ronda Rousey knew what was coming more than a month ago.

On "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" in October, Rousey told Fallon exactly what she was expecting when she would fight Holly Holm.

"I feel like she's going to try and, like, keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated into a point I'll make a mistake and she can try and kick me in the head," Rousey said.

Lo and behold, that's exactly what happened at UFC 193.

This isn't the first time an athlete predicted his or her ultimate demise. Nineteen days before the 1986 World Series, Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner predicted that he would allow the winning run to score in a ball between his legs.

"The dreams are that you're gonna have a great series and win, and the nightmares are that you're gonna let the winning run score on a ground ball through your legs," Buckner said. "Those things happen, and I think a lot of it is just fate."

Fate, indeed.
