"I'm not in charge of changing everybody's mind. I'm in charge of being myself and doing the job to the best of my ability." -- Becky Hammon

You'd think Becky Hammon, espnW's 2014 Woman of the Year, might want to take a breather. After all, she's basically had a basketball in her hand since her South Dakota childhood.

But the six-time WNBA All-Star doesn't seem to have a slow-down mode.

Hammon, who was named the NBA's first female full-time assistant in 2014, led the San Antonio Spurs to the NBA summer league title in 2015. Her biggest champion? Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.

"Ever since I saw her play in the WNBA, chewing that gum, taking no prisoners on the court, we thought she was something special," he said, adding that she's a "basketball junkie."

We're guessing she won't hit pause until she has her own team to command, and a few championship rings to show for it.
