Washington Justice cut founding member Fahzix

The Overwatch League's Washington Justice announced Monday that they are releasing one of their founding players, Riley "Fahzix" Taylor.

"Today we say goodbye to @Fahzix," the team said in a post on Twitter. "We thank him for his positive presence, dedication, and hard work, and wish him great success with all his future endeavors. #JusticeFamForever"

Fahzix was one of the first players added to the Justice roster in December 2018. He previously had played for NRG Esports and EnVision Esports.

This season, after struggling in the first few stages of the Overwatch League, Washington added Hong "ArK" Yeon-joon from the New York Excelsior. ArK was played over Fahzix in hopes of bolstering results.

Fahzix hasn't played for the Justice since March. In addition, Fahzix noted in April he would be placing more focus on streaming.

The Washington Justice next face the Atlanta Reign on Friday.
