Overwatch League reveals Doomfist skin to honor Shock's 2019 title

Activision Blizzard

The Overwatch League unveiled a new San Francisco Shock championship legendary skin for Doomfist on Tuesday, which will be available for purchase from March 26 to April 9.

The skin, which is named "Thunder," features purple and gold accents, as well as horns on top of the attack character frequently used by the Shock and their DPS player Jay "Sinatraa" Won, who won the Overwatch League Season 2 MVP in September. Sinatraa and the Shock used Doomfist 35 times in the Overwatch League since the character's release.

The Shock won Overwatch League Season 2 in September after a dominant showing over the Vancouver Titans in the grand finals in Philadelphia. Several months later, Sinatraa and Shock teammates Grant "moth" Espe and Matthew "super" DeLisi went on to win the 2019 Overwatch World Cup in Anaheim, California.
